This is the perfect size for fetch training. The handle is great for sending it flying without getting dirty. Just keep in mind it's an action toy: made for exchanging and dynamic throws, not so much for solo chewing.
Why is it great?
The king of swimming: It is designed to float perfectly on the surface. Moreover, the material is water-repellent, so the tug doesn't gorge on water and become heavy for the dog to carry while swimming.
Smooth and resistant surface: Fire hose canvas is known for its extreme durability, but it has the advantage of being smooth. It is very gentle on gums and teeth when gripping, unlike abrasive tennis balls.
