It is the ideal coat if you live in the countryside or walk along unlit roads. The 200g padding is warm enough for winter, so no need to add layers underneath. It is a very practical all-in-one.
Maximum safety : The bright yellow fabric draws the eye by day, and the reflective strips on the sides take over as soon as headlights catch them at night. You're visible from a distance, which is reassuring near roads.
Serious protection : This isn't a thin hi-vis vest. It's a waterproof coat with heat-welded seams to keep the rain out, and 200g padding to keep your dog warm.
True harness compatibility : Many waterproof coats let water in through the harness slot. Here, the back opening is sealed with a special Digby & Fox rubber gasket that lets the lead through while blocking the rain.
